Why Hacienda?

We play great Indie tunes all with the 1990s Britpop-era vibe. Some you will know and love well from bands like Oasis, Stereophonics and Blur. Others will make you think “that’s such a great song, why haven’t I heard that played live more?”. It’s true that some songs are harder to crack than others; we don’t shirk a challenge and stick at it until it sounds great.

We recognise that sometimes an audience wants to get up and dance, sometimes party or rock out and other times maybe just want to have a catch up and jolly good chat. Hacienda operate a silent stage which means we can tailor the dynamic to suit you.

We don’t use any amplifiers. These muddy the sound in any room.

We don’t use acoustic drums. By their very nature acoustic drums drive volume levels upwards.

All of our instruments feed into a digital mixing desk using a pair of compact front facings speakers with a modern line array for projection of sound with full clarity.

We create an ambience setting the mood at low volume levels (although too quiet and you hear the pitter-patter of the drum pads being tapped!). We can also be engaging loud so you can feel the thump, or anything in-between – it’s up to you.

Our silent stage means you will never hear feedback from our microphones and thanks to the efforts of engineer Noah the sound will be just right. We are wireless, so expect us to also step forward and interact with the audience!
